Fall 2008

© GDD-201-03 :: Fall 2008

My Introduction to Typography (GDD-201-03) students created this type t-shirt, which are available for purchase from Cafe Press. Each student designed a clever letterform and I contributed the J. The project turned out to be fun, quick and rewarding.

    What a clever and fun way to engage students! I love their creative letters being displayed on a T shirt. It’s bound to be well remembered as a unique and enjoyable college project.

    Nice J! At first I didn’t understand “I contributed the J.” I thought it was some hip lingo that I was too old to understand. Now I know that I’m just too dense to catch on sometimes.

    Love the t-shirts and I love the project. Great thinking.

    Kara,

    Very cool. Here is a link to some type that made me think of you and the letterpress idea that was your thesis.

    Smooches,
