My Introduction to Typography (GDD-201-03) students created this type t-shirt, which are available for purchase from Cafe Press. Each student designed a clever letterform and I contributed the J. The project turned out to be fun, quick and rewarding.

Son of Rambow Poster
Willie, thanks for the nudge to get back to blog land. My latest inspiration comes from the movie Son of Rambow. The boys are just too clever and too darn cute. Their adventures remind me of the childhood fun my brothers and I used to have with our friends when we roamed freely along the bike path. We made up games, built forts (or tried to) and cruised on our bikes without helmets! I gotta say, being a kid in the 1970/80s was a blast. Anyway, check out movie (the DVD is out) — the 1980s soundtrack is a great bonus.
