Quake Relief Poster Entry. This is my poster submission for the Quake Relief Poster Exhibition (see my China :: Earthquake Relief post). It was refreshing to have complete creative control on the poster and t-shirt projects. The collage is a combo of trip photos (Stacey, my photo of the little boy is “clean” — happy to share if you want a copy
) and edited parts of two found images (I really wanted to include the “save” tent).

Love the poster. I like the use of the chinese red “bleeding” to orange with structures raising from the rubble. There’s also a feeling of hope with the couple pointing to the rebuilding/horizon and the complete innocence of the smiling child. The chinese proverb says it all!
